Universal Header & Footer

All of the Windows Live online services use a common header and footer to provide simple, consistent navigation throughout the suite. You can co-brand the header by adding your logo adjacent to the Windows Live logo. You can also customize the navigation options – in the header and footer – to add co-branded links that integrate your services into the Windows Live offering or drive traffic to other key sites.

Windows Live Landing Pages

Many of the Windows Live online services have “landing pages” that act as the starting point for engaging with each service. These landing pages can be customized with your content using RSS feeds. You may also select from several options for how the selected content is displayed, including photos and headline treatments.

Windows Live Hotmail

You can customize some of the core Hotmail user interface and functionality, including:

  • renaming the Hotmail service with your company name
  • selecting the URL to which users are re-directed when they sign out of their account
  • renaming the Today page
  • customizing the Options page with your own groups of links, newsletters, and special offers

Windows Live Messenger

The new Messenger features a streamlined user interface with several customization features, including:

  • adding your logo and name to the title bar text
  • creating new menu items under the “Help” and “Billing Support” menus in the main window
  • adding your logo and name to the Messenger sign-in page
